What is Capstone Project ?

Capstone project is one of my final semester subjects of Diploma in Business. It is designed to give me, as a student the opportunity to produce a group business plan or proposal/recommendation under the supervision of a lecturer. This Capstone project exposes the students to major areas of the subjects that they have studied in Diploma of Business. The students will apply the relevant business concepts that they have learnt to develop a feasible and profitable business plan or proposal.
What is BookDoc ?


BookDoc is a mobile application that is founded by Datuk Chevy Beh. It is a leading digital medical technology solution provider in Asia, providing end-to-end solutions in the entire healthcare field. How does it work? It connects patients with medical care professionals in order to provide timely care and access while reducing waiting time. In 2015, it became the first healthcare online platform in Malaysia that provides such services.
For a start, the healthcare app(BookDoc) is only available for corporate clients who wish to connect their employees with panel doctors and hospitals by providing companies with analytic tools that can monitor employees long-term medical needs.
However, as of today the goal of BookDoc is to help bridge the gaps in informational asymmetries and reduce inefficiencies in healthcare. Simply put, BookDoc will immediately connect patients in need with experts who can assist, anytime and anywhere.

During the Capstone Project in Collaboration with BookDoc, our group is under the supervision of Mr. Ihsan. Mr. Ihsan is a good lecturer that is kind & responsible. He would prepare the checklist for each task for us to refer in order to score higher marks. He has taught me a lot of useful knowledge that can improve my works effieciently.

So this is our group. We are The Optimizers 2.0. I am the secretary of the group. I feel honoured to be in this group as each of us has done our job the best. We have the best leader who always there to prepare & delegate the tasks for us, the best vice leader who always finalizing our works; the best video producer who edited our presentation video nicely; the best PPT designer who edited our presentation slides with unique designation and the best presenters who were able to present fluently and greatly for the group.

In this assessment, Kai Xuan and I were taking part in the main features & benefits of BookDoc which are Go Activ, Search & Book, Tele-consult, Food Log, Event & News, Employee Benefits, Covid-19 and Marketplace. We give rating for each feature & benefit and explain about them.
We were having virtual meetings via Google Meet and discussion via Whatsapp group to discuss about the tasks of GTP1. As the secretary of the group, I was responsible to record each meeting for team members to refer.

Midpoint presentation - GTP1
The presentation slides were designed by our ppt designer, Ngoi Kai Xuan. I was in charge of doing the contents of the main features & benefits of BookDoc. Our presenters, Kang Zi Yang and Lee Her Jun, were performed well in the presentation as they have been doing rehearsals to prepare for it.

In GTP 2, I was doing for the user experience of Food Log feature together with Lee Li jie. We have discussions about choosing ideas & points. In this report, we were recorded our user experience, area of improvement and suggestion to close the gaps for the feature. In the nutshell, we think that there are still a lot of improvements of the Food Log feature.

As I'm taking part in doing the user experience of Food Log feature, so I'm also responsible for preparing the slides of Food Log feature. I did include the user experience of all subfeatures from the slides and simplify & bold the words.
